Double room in Devon Torquay for £400 per month

Two large double rooms for rent in a quiet area of torquay, located only a 5 minute walk from the hospital and the train station, and just off the new south devon link road.

completely refurbished bungalow with loft conversion, fully redecorated with all rooms completely repainted, new carpet throughout, new bathroom, and new kitchen. the outside of the property has also been repainted.

i (owner) live in the upstairs loft room with ensuite, leaving the downstairs bathroom for the sole use of the two housemates. the large living room will also be mainly for the use of housemates, though may be used by myself very occasionally. kitchen will be shared between myself and both housemates. there is a large driveway to the front of the house, upon which each housemate will be allocated one parking space.

rooms are both 3.8m x 3.1m, and will be furnished with a bed and drawers/cupboards.

i work 8:30 until 5:00pm every weekday as a software engineer, so am usually in the house in the evenings and at weekends. i am usually fairly quiet, rarely coming in late at the weekends.

looking for two respectful housemates (one per room), who will be easy to get on with, will keep their rooms and shared areas clean & tidy, and will be prompt and up front with the rent payments.

the price of £400 per calendar month includes all contributions to bills (water/gas/electricity/broadba nd etc). a security deposit of £250 will be payable upon first moving in, and the rent will be paid a month in advance (i. e. first payment of £650 upon moving in). the £250 security deposit will be returned when the housemate leaves the room in what is agreed to be a satisfactory state.

note: one of the rooms is now taken, the other room is still available.
